Live View
The Live View page provides a direct, low-latency feed of what is currently happening on your trading accounts.
Position Status
Positions can be in several states:
1. Open Positions
Trades that are active in the market.
- Data Shown: Symbol, Type (Buy/Sell), Volume, Entry Price, Current Price, P&L.
- Action PnL: This P&L includes swaps and commissions, so it represents the real money you would net if you closed the trade right now.
2. Pending Orders
Limit or Stop orders that have been placed but not yet triggered.
- Example: Layers 2, 3, and 4 of a trade are often visible here as "Buy Limits".
- Canceling: You can manually cancel a pending order by clicking the
Xicon, though we recommend letting the automated system manage this.
Manual Reconciliation (Sync)
Sometimes, connections drop. If MetaAPI disconnects for a second, the TTMT database might momentarily fall out of sync with your Broker's reality.
- Metric: "Database Trades" vs "MetaTrader Trades".
- The Button: "Sync with MetaTrader" (purple button).
What happens when you click Sync:
- TTMT pauses its logic.
- It downloads the full list of open positions from your Broker.
- It compares them to its internal database.
- Orphans: If it finds a trade on the Broker that is NOT in the database (e.g., you opened it manually on your phone), it adds it to the system so it can be tracked.
- Ghosts: If it finds a trade in the database that is CLOSED on the Broker, it updates the database to mark it as closed.
Use sparingly:
Syncing is a heavy operation. You typically only need to use this if you suspect something is wrong or after a prolonged internet outage.
