Channel Management
Your "Channels" page is your personal trading floor. This is where you organize which signals you follow and how they are treated.
How the Channel Library Works
TTMT uses a curated library system to ensure you only see high-quality, verified signal channels. Here's how channels become available to you:
The Channel Discovery Flow
Step-by-Step Process
Telegram Authentication: When you connect your Telegram account, TTMT automatically scans all channels and groups you're a member of.
Library Population: Discovered channels are added to TTMT's central library for review. They start as "not enabled" and are invisible to users.
Admin Curation: The TTMT team reviews new channels and enables ones suitable for signal trading. This ensures quality control.
User Visibility: You can only see and follow channels that are:
- Enabled in the library (admin-approved)
- AND you are a Telegram member of that channel
Why This Approach?
This curated system protects you from accidentally enabling random Telegram groups that aren't signal channels. Only verified signal providers appear in your available channels list.
Browsing Available Channels
Navigate to Dashboard → Channels to see your channel options:
Channel Categories
| Section | Description |
|---|---|
| Enabled | Channels you're currently following and receiving signals from |
| Available | Channels you can follow (you're a member AND they're library-enabled) |
| Join to Access | Library channels you're not a Telegram member of yet |
Channel Information
Each channel card displays:
- Channel name and description
- Typical symbols traded (e.g., Gold, EURUSD, GBPUSD)
- Follower count and aggregate win rate
- Verified and Recommended badges
Following a Channel
Click the Follow button on any available channel. TTMT will:
- Subscribe you to the channel's signal feed.
- Apply all pre-configured settings:
- TP Distribution: Progressive, Balanced, or Extended
- Signal Behavior: Auto Detect, Immediate, or Two-Phase
- Default Symbol: For single-asset channels (e.g., Gold-only)
- Mark the channel with a Library badge.
One-Click Setup
No manual configuration needed! Library channels come with settings optimized for that signal provider's trading style.
What You'll See
- If you're a member of an enabled channel: It appears in "Available" for you to follow
- If you're NOT a member: It appears in "Join to Access" with a link to join
- If a channel isn't enabled: You won't see it at all (even if you're a Telegram member)
Library Badges
After following channels, you'll see badges indicating the settings status:
| Badge | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Library | Using platform-configured default settings |
| Custom | You've modified one or more settings |
| Verified | Channel verified by the TTMT team |
| Recommended | Featured/top-performing channel |
Settings Inheritance
Library channels use a settings inheritance system that gives you flexibility while maintaining optimized defaults.
How It Works
- Follow from Library: Channel starts with "Library" defaults.
- Customize (Optional): Modify any setting via the channel settings panel.
- Badge Updates: Changes to "Custom" when you modify settings.
- Reset Anytime: One-click reset restores original library defaults.
Customizing Channel Settings
- Click the Gear Icon on any channel card.
- The settings panel opens, showing:
- Current settings status (Library Defaults or Custom)
- All configurable options
- Modify settings as needed:
- TP Distribution: How volume is spread across Take Profits
- Default Symbol: Fallback when signals don't specify one
- Signal Behavior: How signals are processed (see below)
- Click Save Changes.
Settings Status
The panel shows whether you're using "Library Defaults" or "Custom Settings" so you always know the state of your configuration.
Resetting to Library Defaults
If you've customized a library channel and want to restore the original settings:
- Open the channel settings panel.
- Click Reset to Defaults.
- All settings revert to the library configuration.
- Badge changes back to Library.
Signal Behavior Options
| Mode | Description | Use Case |
|---|---|---|
| Auto Detect | TTMT automatically determines signal type | Most channels |
| Immediate | Execute signals instantly | Fast-moving/scalping channels |
| Two-Phase | Wait for confirmation before executing | Channels that send "Pending" then "Activate" |
For Two-Phase mode, you can also configure:
- Action on Initial: Execute immediately or wait for followup
- Followup Timeout: Time window to wait for confirmation (default: 30 minutes)
Requesting New Channels
If you want to follow a Telegram channel that's not in the library:
- Join the channel on Telegram if you haven't already.
- Re-authenticate your Telegram in TTMT Settings → Telegram.
- Wait for admin review — new channels are automatically discovered and queued for review.
Channel Requests
The TTMT team regularly reviews newly discovered channels and enables ones suitable for signal trading. If you have a specific channel request, contact support.
Channel Actions
Pausing & Resuming

Additional Settings
Symbol Mapping
When signals from a channel use different symbol names than your broker (e.g., channel says "GOLD" but broker uses "XAUUSD.pro"), you'll need to create symbol mappings. See the Symbol Mapping guide for details.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why don't I see a channel I'm a member of?
The channel may not be enabled in the TTMT library yet. Channels must be reviewed and enabled by the TTMT team before they appear. If you recently joined the channel, try re-authenticating your Telegram to trigger a re-scan.
Can I add any Telegram channel?
No. TTMT uses a curated library system where only admin-approved channels are available. This ensures you only see legitimate signal providers, not random Telegram groups.
What happens to channels I was following that get removed from the library?
Your existing trades will continue to be managed, but no new signals will be processed. The channel will no longer appear in your dashboard.
How do I request a channel be added?
Join the channel on Telegram, re-authenticate in TTMT, and the channel will be automatically discovered. Contact TTMT support if you want to expedite the review process.
