MetaAPI Issues
TTMT uses MetaAPI to bridge the gap between the cloud and your MetaTrader account.
Connection Failed
You entered your login details, but it stays red or says "Connection Failed".
1. "Unauthorized" / "Auth Failed"
- Cause: Wrong Login ID or Password.
- Fix:
- Copy/Paste the password directly from your broker email to avoid typos.
- Ensure you are using the Master Password, not Investor.
- Check for hidden spaces.
2. "Invalid Server"
- Cause: You selected the wrong broker server.
- Fix:
- Brokers often have many servers (
ICMarkets-Live01,ICMarkets-Live02). - Check your MT4/MT5 mobile app settings to see exactly which server your account is logged into.

3. "Platform Error"
- Cause: You selected MT4 but your account is actually MT5 (or vice versa).
- Fix: Double-check the platform version.
Account Not Syncing
The dashboard says "Connected", but new trades aren't showing up.
1. Check Magic Number
TTMT filters trades by its own "Magic Number" to avoid messing with your manual trades.
- If you opened a trade manually on your phone, it won't show in TTMT unless you use the Sync button.
2. "Deployment Not Finished"
- Symptoms: Status is stuck on "Deploying" or "Provisioning" for > 10 minutes.
- Fix:
- Go to Settings > Accounts.
- Click Redeploy (if available) or Disconnect and try adding it again.
- This forces a new cloud instance to spin up.
Frequent Disconnects
Your account goes Green -> Red -> Green frequently.
- Cause: Usually implies your Broker's server is overloaded or unstable.
- Action:
- This is often temporary during high-impact news.
- If it persists for > 24 hours, contact support so we can check the region latency.
