Common Issues
Before panicking, check this list. 90% of issues reported to support are solved by these steps.
Problem: Signal Not Executing
You saw a signal in your Telegram channel, but no trade opened on your dashboard.
Checklist
- Check Channel Status: Is the channel status set to Active (Green)? Paused channels won't execute trades.
- Check Status Lights: Are MetaAPI and Telegram both green in the dashboard header?
- Check Signal Log: Go to Analytics > Signal Logs. Find the message.
- If missing: Your Telegram connection is broken. Reconnect Telegram.
- If "SKIPPED": Click details. It might be a duplicate or "Close" signal for a trade you don't have.
- If "FAILED": Read the error. Common ones:
Risk too high,Symbol not mapped.
Problem: Breakeven Not Activating
Trade hit TP1, but SL didn't move to entry.
Possible Causes
- Feature Disabled: Check Settings > Trading. Is "Auto-move SL to Breakeven" enabled?
- Trigger Level: Did you set it to trigger after TP2 instead of TP1?
- Fast Market: If price hit TP1 and reversed instantly (in milliseconds), the broker might not have had time to process the modification request.
Problem: Telegram Connection Keeps Dropping
You have to constantly re-enter the code.
Fix
This usually happens if you are logging out of the session from your Telegram App.
- Go to Telegram App > Settings > Devices.
- Do NOT terminate the session named "TTMT Client".
- If it persists, try using a specific App Password (Cloud Password) if you have 2FA enabled, as it creates a more stable session.
Problem: Trade Opened with Wrong Size
"I set risk to 1%, but it opened 0.01 lots!"
Fix
- Check Channel Settings. You might have a specific override for that channel set to "Fixed Lots".
- Check Max Risk Cap. If you set risk to 10% but your global cap is 2%, it will be limited to 2%.
- Symbol Properties: For some indices (Example: US30),
0.01lots might be a huge contract size. TTMT calculates based on the broker's specific "Tick Value".
