Layouts and Views

Two controls in the Settings header change how much you see at once. Layout decides whether sections come one at a time or all together. View decides whether each section shows its common rows or all of them. Neither changes a value, and every layout saves through the same save bar.

Layout: Sections or One page

One page	Every section stacked on one long page, with jump links to each. Every row is shown, so the Simple and Full control is hidden.

The Layout control shows on Account defaults and on a preset's own page. Your choice is remembered in this browser, per viewer. Adding ?layout=page to the Settings address opens One page for that visit and wins over the remembered choice.

Which layout opens first

On a desktop (1024 px or wider), people who signed up before 22:20 UTC on 18 October 2026 open on One page, the way the old settings read. Newer sign-ups open on Sections, and phones start on Sections. Once you pick a layout, that choice is used instead.

Quick edit

In the Sections layout on a desktop, a card named Quick edit sits above the open section. Its caption reads "The settings people change most. Each one is also in its own section." Each row ends with a link such as More in Size per trade › that opens the full section.

The card uses the same controls as the sections, so a change made here is saved exactly like one made in the section. The row for the section you have open is left out of the card, so one setting never appears twice on screen. On a preset's page the card has no Daily limits row, because a preset's daily limit is its own budget card, not the account switch.

Quick edit is not a third layout, and it is not shown in One page or on a phone. On a phone, the overview list lets you edit the top setting of a section in place; see Settings on a phone.

View: Simple or Full

Simple is where the page starts. Nothing in Full is a different setting; Simple only folds the rarely used rows away. The View control is not shown in One page, because One page already shows every row.
