Connect with claude.ai
This page connects Claude on the web (claude.ai) to your TTMT data, so you can ask plain-English questions about your own trades, positions, performance, settings, and risk status — right inside a Claude conversation. It takes about a minute and only needs to be done once per browser sign-in.
Claude connects through a read-only connector. It can read your data to answer your questions, but it can never place, modify, or close a trade, change a setting, move funds, or see anyone else's data. There is no write access — the connector is read-only by design.
Availability
MCP access is rolling out gradually. Even after you sign in successfully, the connector only works once your account has API access enabled (the same gate as the Developer API and API keys). If sign-in or the consent step fails, enablement may still be in progress for your account — message support and we will get you set up.
Before you start
You need:
- A claude.ai account (any plan that supports custom connectors).
- A TTMT account at app.telegramtometatrader.com with API access enabled.
You do not need an API key or a separate MCP password. You sign in with your normal TTMT account, and Claude handles the rest.
The connector URL
You will paste this connector URL into claude.ai:
https://app.telegramtometatrader.com/api/mcp/mcpSetup steps
Follow these in order inside claude.ai:
- Open Settings → Connectors.
- Choose Add custom connector.
- Paste the connector URL:
https://app.telegramtometatrader.com/api/mcp/mcp - Sign in with your TTMT account when Claude opens the sign-in window. This is your normal TTMT login — no new credentials.
- On the read-only consent screen, review what Claude is asking for and click Allow. You are granting read-only (
ttmt:read) access — nothing more.
That is it. Claude can now answer questions about your data.
Every request is re-verified
There are no long-lived sessions. Claude re-verifies your sign-in on every single request, so access can never quietly outlive your account. You can remove the connector any time from the same Settings → Connectors screen — TTMT never initiates the disconnect, and removing it cuts Claude off immediately.
What you can ask
Once connected, ask Claude naturally. A few examples:
- "Give me my morning trading summary."
- "Show me my losing
XAUUSDtrades this week." - "What's my total floating P&L right now?"
- "Which of my accounts are halted right now?"
- "If I got a
XAUUSDBUYsignal right now, what would my order plan look like?"
Claude answers using a set of read-only tools — list_trades, list_positions, get_performance, get_risk_status, preview_execution, and more. For the full catalog of what Claude can read and how, see the quickstart.
Rate limit
The connector allows 60 requests per minute per user, shared across every MCP client you connect (claude.ai, Claude Desktop, Claude Code, and any others). If you hit the limit, requests may briefly show up as sign-in or authentication failures rather than an explicit rate-limit message — this is a known client-side quirk. Wait a moment and try again.
If the connection fails
- Sign-in or consent won't complete — your account may not have API access enabled yet. See the availability note above and message support.
- Requests suddenly look like auth failures — you may have hit the 60-requests-per-minute limit. Pause and retry.
- You want to disconnect — open Settings → Connectors, find the TTMT connector, and remove it. Access stops right away.
