Are you an LLM? You can read better optimized documentation at /billing-and-account/profile-settings.md for this page in Markdown format
Profile Settings
Your profile page holds your account basics — name, timezone, display currency, password, and your Telegram connection — plus the controls to delete your account. Open it from Dashboard → Profile. Everything here is account-level; trading settings live elsewhere.
Personal information
The profile card has two fields:
- Email — read-only. It's used for login, receipts, and support, and can't be changed in-app.
- Full Name — editable.
A Save Changes button at the bottom of the card commits your name and timezone together.
INFO
Your email can't be changed in-app. Contact support at support@telegramtometatrader.com if you need it updated.
Preferences
- Timezone — a searchable selector. It sets how all dates and times display across the dashboard, signal logs, and trade history. Saved with the Save Changes button.
- Display Currency — a currency selector. Every financial value on the dashboard is converted to show in this currency.
TIP
Display Currency only changes how numbers are shown to you. It does not change your subscription's billing currency.
Example: You moved from London to Dubai — change your Timezone so every timestamp matches your local clock, then click Save Changes. Or you want your P&L shown in EUR instead of USD — set Display Currency to EUR and the values convert on display, while your billing currency stays the same.
Password
The Change Password card updates your password. Enter your current password and a new one, and the card validates the change for you.
Legal agreements
The Legal Agreements card shows which terms and policies you've accepted and their current status. It's an informational card — no action is needed unless an updated policy requires re-acceptance.
Telegram connection
The Telegram Login Settings card shows whether your channel-reading connection is active and lets you reconnect if it drops. This is the connection that reads signals from your channels — it is separate from the notifications bot, which only sends you alerts. Both work independently.
To reconnect, enter your phone number and the verification code sent to your Telegram app.
Do Not Terminate the TTMT Session
In Telegram → Settings → Devices you'll see a session named "TTMT Client". Do not terminate it — it is how TTMT reads your channel messages. Terminating it disconnects your account and signals stop arriving.
Example: Your Telegram connection dropped after a phone change. Reconnect from the Telegram Login Settings card with your phone number and code — and leave the TTMT Client session untouched in Telegram's device list.
Deleting your account
The Danger Zone at the bottom of the page lets you permanently delete your account. The flow is:
- Click Delete Account.
- Confirm your password.
- TTMT sends a confirmation email — click the link in it to proceed.
- Your account enters a 14-day grace period. During this window you can click Cancel Deletion & Keep Account to stop the deletion entirely.
- After 14 days, all data is permanently removed: profile and account settings, Telegram connections, MetaTrader trading configuration, and trade and signal history.
During the grace period, the page shows your scheduled-deletion date and the days remaining.
Before You Delete
Close all open trades and cancel any pending orders on your MetaTrader account first — TTMT stops managing them after deletion. The 14-day grace period is your safety net: if you change your mind, cancel the deletion before it elapses.
Example: You request deletion, then change your mind on day 5. Click Cancel Deletion & Keep Account during the 14-day grace window and nothing is lost.
