Profile Settings

Your profile page lets you manage personal information, control privacy settings, and handle account-level preferences. Access it from Settings > Profile or by clicking your avatar in the dashboard header.

Personal Information

Name and Email

• Display name: Your name as shown in the dashboard. You can update it at any time.
• Email address: The email associated with your TTMT account. This is used for login, billing receipts, and support communication.

Avatar

Your profile avatar is pulled from your authentication provider (Google, GitHub, etc.) or can be set manually. It appears in the dashboard header and in any shared referral pages.

Telegram Connection

Your profile page shows the current status of your Telegram connection.

Connection Status

• Connected: Your Telegram account is linked and actively monitoring channels. The connected phone number and username are displayed.
• Disconnected: Your Telegram session has expired or was terminated. Signals will not be received until you reconnect.

Reconnecting Telegram

If your Telegram connection drops:

1. Go to Settings > Profile.
2. Click Reconnect Telegram.
3. Enter your phone number and the verification code sent to your Telegram app.

Do Not Terminate the TTMT Session

If you go to Telegram App > Settings > Devices, you will see a session named "TTMT Client". Do not terminate this session -- it is how TTMT reads your channel messages. Terminating it will disconnect your account.

Account Preferences

Timezone

Set your preferred timezone to ensure that timestamps in the dashboard, signal logs, and trade history are displayed in your local time.

Date Format

Choose between common date formats (e.g., DD/MM/YYYY, MM/DD/YYYY) for consistent date display across the platform.

Analytics Opt-Out

TTMT uses analytics (PostHog) to understand how the platform is used and to improve the experience. If you prefer not to be tracked:

1. Go to Settings > Profile.
2. Toggle Disable Analytics Tracking to on.

When disabled:

• No usage events are sent to our analytics platform.
• Your experience is not affected -- all features work identically.
• This preference is respected across the entire platform.

Admin Accounts

Admin users have analytics tracking disabled by default.

Referral Link

Your personal referral link is displayed on the profile page. Share it with friends, trading communities, or your audience to earn commissions through the Affiliate Program.

• Your unique referral code is auto-generated when you create your account.
• Click Copy Link to copy it to your clipboard.
• Track your referral performance from the Affiliate Dashboard.

Danger Zone: Account Deletion

At the bottom of the profile page is the Danger Zone section where you can permanently delete your account.

What happens when you delete your account:

• Your subscription is immediately canceled.
• All connected MetaTrader accounts are disconnected.
• Your Telegram session is terminated.
• Your trade history, signal logs, and settings are permanently deleted.
• This action cannot be undone.

Deletion process:

1. Click Delete Account in the Danger Zone.
2. Read the warning about permanent data loss.
3. Type the confirmation phrase exactly as shown.
4. Click Confirm Deletion.

Before You Delete

Make sure to close all open trades and cancel any pending orders on your MetaTrader account before deleting your TTMT account. TTMT will no longer manage or monitor trades after deletion.
