Suspended Account
If a subscription payment fails, your account does not disappear — it enters a grace period with escalating warnings and only pauses if the payment still is not fixed. While paused, trading stops but your data and configuration are kept safe. This page explains the warning stages, what gets paused, and how to get back up and running.
The grace period (before suspension)
When a payment fails, your service keeps running for a grace period while you fix it. The dashboard at app.telegramtometatrader.com shows a warning banner that escalates as the deadline approaches:
- Payment Issue (amber) — your last payment failed; update your payment method.
- Payment Overdue (orange) — service will be suspended in a set number of days if it stays unresolved.
- Final Warning (red) — service will be suspended today, tomorrow, or within a few days, and all trading will stop.
Each banner has an Update Payment button that opens the billing page. TTMT re-checks your payment status frequently, so once the payment goes through the banner clears on its own — you do not need to do anything else.
What happens when you're suspended
If the grace period ends without payment, your account is suspended and you see a full-page "Your Account is Suspended" screen instead of the dashboard. Trading stops: no new signals are acted on, and TTMT no longer manages your open trades.
To be precise, suspension pauses management — TTMT stops monitoring and adjusting your trades. It does not close your open positions for you. Any positions already on your broker stay open exactly as they were; you manage them directly in MT4 or MT5 until you reactivate.
Without this distinction, a trader might assume suspension flat-out closes their open trades. It does not — so an unmanaged position can keep running on the broker, and you are responsible for it until service resumes.
Trading stops when suspended
While your account is suspended, TTMT stops monitoring and managing trades. Manage any open positions directly in MT4 or MT5 until you reactivate.
Your data is safe
Your configuration, trade history, signal logs, and settings are preserved through suspension. Data is retained for 90 days after your account is suspended. Reactivate within that window and everything is restored exactly as you left it.
Your data is preserved
Suspension does not delete anything. Your settings, history, and configuration are kept for 90 days — reactivate and you are back where you left off.
How to reactivate
From the suspension screen:
- Click Reactivate Account.
- If your payment can be settled directly, your service resumes automatically and the dashboard reloads.
- Otherwise you are taken to checkout or the billing portal to select a plan and pay; service resumes once payment goes through.
The suspension screen also links to View Billing History and Contact Support at support@telegramtometatrader.com.
Example. You reactivate two months after suspension. Because you are still inside the 90-day retention window, your trade history and settings are restored the moment your payment clears.
Avoiding suspension
The grace period exists so you never reach the suspension screen. Keep a valid card on file, watch for the warning banners, and resolve any "Payment Issue" banner promptly. The common failure causes mirror normal billing problems: an expired card, insufficient funds, or a bank blocking an international charge.
Fix it during the grace period
Resolve a failed payment while the warning banner is showing and you never get suspended at all. See Billing Management.
Example. Your card expires and renewal fails. You see the amber "Payment Issue" banner, update your card, and the banner clears — suspension never happens.
